The United Nations declared 2026 the International Year of the Woman Farmer – a global campaign aimed at recognizing women’s indispensable yet often overlooked contributions to global agrifood systems and to galvanize efforts to close persistent gender gaps.
In this online-event we highlight best pratices by female and queer farmers from three continents. Together we will discuss gender equality as a key for sustainable and just food systems worldwide and debate how everyone of us can contribute and take action.
